Where Your Fees Go

WHERE YOUR MEMBER FEES GO

MAA USES YOUR FEES TO PROMOTE THE INDUSTRY

Martial Arts Australia uses your membership fees to promote all styles to the general public but they also use these funds to protect and empower the industry as well by working with government.

PROMOTING:
By Filming events and broadcasting them through various networks - Martial Arts TV, Kapow TV and local TV networks. They also create material through other mediums such as magazines, newsletters and radio posted on their numerous websites. They also have a large social media following and extensive website traffic that take advantage of the interesting articles / stories.

PROTECTING:
By providing the most comprehensive insurance packages, risk management / OH&S policy documents and instructor training courses it helps inform and protect clubs / instructors helping them operate more safely.

They also act as a united voice to government, corporate sector and the general public sometimes in the capacity of rallying to prevent unfair legislation being implemented. Or it could be by issuing a PR statement to the public about Cage Fighting being safer in the cage than out of it as an example.

It could also about pointing clubs in the right direction to obtain the most appropriate insurance for their business.

EMPOWERING:
By offering multiple Business Tools all under the One Roof as a 'One Stop Shop'.

We also educate instructors with the appropriate coaching / management / business qualifications through our instructor courses and Business Mentoring Programs.

Without your membership Subscriptions we would not be doing very much at all and this would be a big disappointment for thousands of instructors.
We don't get government funding, we only get revenue from subscriptions, products we sell, but we manage it very well so it allows us to help a lot o clubs.
