22nd October 2022 - WHATS THIS EVENT?

It’s a day that you want to get your school involved as we all work together to ensure a lot more Australian’s will think about and get to know more about martial arts.
It was brought to my attention, by a few of my USA friends so I thought hey, this sounds like a great idea.
On this day, Martial Arts will be made more accessible in multiple public places (iconic landmarks) in every city. Everyone gets to watch demonstrations and participate in any class style throughout the day.  JOIN IN THE FUN NOW!

Making Martial Arts accessible to the public at multiple iconic landmarks in every major city around Australia. 

It’s a family fun day where the family can come together and get to know more about Martial Arts! All instructors and clubs can join in for a common goal to showcase the benefits of training.


Everyone can join, even online! 

Enjoy demonstrations and participate in various classes throughout the day. It’s the perfect opportunity to check out each style and get special deals on club membership around the country. 



If you are club owner, this is your chance to to engage with the media and promote your business with this united cause. The ultimate family day out!

The 2022 NMAD is being promoted on your behalf by engaging Social Media, our Websites, Video Channels, Magazines, through our directories and emails to 11,500 clubs.


Our full vision of classes / demos at all the iconic places will not happen this year, but with more of a lead up time and participants, we will do it next year year.  So this year its what you make it, have you own promo at your club. Share it with everyone in your social media / community, under the umbrella of NAMAD to give it a greater sense of importance and exclusivity for consumers to do it now for the awesome opportunity to try out martial arts and get a super deal if they join!

This is not one of those activities where you wait for everyone else to do the work and then when the event is ready to roll, you want to be part of it. There maybe a spot for you, but the people who participate early, will be featured more predominately as you would expect.


Guys, this is the first time anything has been done like this and we need to get politicians / councils and mayors onboard to guarantee we get the locations and the support.

Obviously, I have a plan (Boldrick style) and a template of how I feel it should run, but I can’t do everything and be everything to everyone. If its to work and imagine if it does, we will have so many more people filling up martial arts clubs around the country, that will be very cool!


Once the format and relationships are built, this will be an annual event and imagine if we are able to bring international celebrities, to throw their weight behind it.

The idea becomes a vision and with some work, it becomes a reality. Is this your reality?
