Preventing martial arts injuries makes sense and knowing what to do if it happens, is equally as important. As a martial arts association, we will always advocate safety first in training and that instructors / coaches know how to apply the appropriate duty of care? Being First Aid qualified and operational is important to being able to apply the most appropriate duty of care.

As most of us as martial arts instructors will know, rehabilitation can be a hard work recovering and getting back into the gym / martial arts school again. It's made easier if your injured members can get some support for those costs and time off work. The quicker they are back at training the better on so many levels and we all know injured martial arts students, don't pay fees.
